Setting up Payline Data Gateway

You will need a Payline Data merchant account before you start.

   In the Foxy administration at https://admin.foxy.io, go to Settings > Payments.

   Select the payment method set you want to add it to.

   Click Add payment method + and choose Payline Data Gateway.

   Enter your Account Username, supplied by Payline Data.

   Enter your Transaction Key, supplied by Payline Data.

   Click Create.

The panel is split into a Live setup block and a Test setup block carrying the same two fields. Fill in the credentials above under Live setup.

If you see an error mentioning "Overriding Duplicate Threshold is not allowed," contact your Payline Data merchant account provider and ask them to remove that restriction — this is a setting on their side, not something Foxy or you can change from the admin panel.

Testing

Foxy provides shared test credentials for Payline Data Gateway, so you can run test transactions without setting up your own sandbox account. Leave the Test setup fields as they are.

Those shared credentials only exercise the integration itself. If you need to test against your own account configuration, contact Payline Data for a sandbox account.

Obtaining a test account

Contact Payline Data directly to set up a test account; the wiki this article is based on did not record a self-service signup path, and none was found during research for this draft.

Test card numbers

• Visa — Card number: 4111111111111111

• MasterCard — Card number: 5431111111111111

• Discover — Card number: 6011601160116611

• American Express — Card number: 341111111111111

Use expiration date 10/25 with these numbers.

To trigger specific test scenarios:

• An amount under $1.00 returns a declined response.

• An invalid card number returns a fatal error.

• Address line 1 of 888 with zip code 77777 simulates an AVS match.

• CVV 999 simulates a CVV match.

Advanced features

Foxy can pass an optional PO number to Payline Data. Add a field named purchase_order_number to your checkout form, with the value you want to appear in the Payline Data back end.

Important notes and caveats

• Payline Data Gateway is not the same gateway as PayLine. See the note at the top of this article.

• Payline Data does not support 3D Secure through this integration.

For help interpreting response codes, or for anything the AVS/CVV/decline test scenarios above don't cover, contact Payline Data directly — they own the response code definitions and can see transaction detail Foxy cannot.
