Template Sets Overview
What template sets do and how to manage them in the Foxy admin.
Overview
Foxy's template sets functionality gives you the ability to group different settings together into a container which you can switch between based on the requirements for your store.
Some common configurations that template sets allow for:
Multiple languages for a single store - with a template set for each language.
Supporting multiple currencies, adding a template set per currency.
A combination of multiple languages and currencies - a template set per combination.
Customizing language strings for different needs - extra template sets for the same language, but customizing specific strings in certain template sets.
Unique payment gateway configurations for each template set, using the payment sets functionality.
Template set configurations
When creating or modifying a template set, the following settings can be configured:
Description
Any label that will help you identify the template set (for internal use only).
Code
A unique code used for applying template set to the cart session. Depending on your cart display settings, this code may be visible to customers.
Language
Language translation that your Foxy templates (ie: cart, checkout, web receipt, and email receipt) will use when template set is applied to cart session.
Locale
Price and date formatting that will be used when template set is applied to cart session.
Payment Set
Payment options that will be shown to the customer at checkout, when template set is applied to cart session.
