Reset Customer Password
If a customer has a previously created account but forgets their password, there are a couple of ways to reset the password.
Foxy Checkout
1On the Foxy checkout, enter the customer email.
2Click the “Forgot password?” link.
3An email is immediately sent to the customer with a temporary password valid for 30 minutes.
4Once the customer enters the temporary password on the checkout, they are prompted to create a new password for their account.
5If they enter a new password, the password is not saved until the checkout is successfully completed.
Foxy Customer Portal
If a customer portal is installed on your website, customers can reset the password via the portal.
1From the customer portal sign in screen, click the "Get temporary password" button.
2Enter the customer email.
3Click the "Get temporary password" button.
4An email is immediately sent to the customer with a temporary password valid for 30 minutes.
5Once the customer signs in the portal with the temporary password, they are prompted to create a new password for their account.
