Modify a digital product

Steps

   Go to the Foxy admin

   Go to Downloadables

   Click the product you want to modify

   Update the relevant fields:

   • Product name — displayed to the customer on the receipt

   • Product code — must be unique per product within its category

   • Price — this is the price charged at checkout

   • Category — must be a category with its delivery option set to “Downloaded by the customer”

   • File — upload a new file to replace the existing one

   Save the product

Notes

• If you change the code or category of a product, make sure to update any add-to-cart links or forms on your site to match, otherwise they will error or add a non-digital product to the cart.

• Updating the file replaces it for all future downloads. Customers with existing download links will receive the updated file.
