Hide product options using admin settings

How to show or hide standard and custom product options in the cart, checkout, and receipt using the admin settings.

By default, Foxy displays all standard product options (weight, category, code, etc.) and any custom options in the cart, checkout, and receipt. You can control which options are visible to customers using the Template Config settings in the Foxy admin.

Steps

    Go to the Foxy admin

    Go to Settings > Cart.

    Under the Cart display section, disable the "Show all product options" toggle.

    Toggle on/off any standard product options you want to hide

  5. 5

    To hide custom product options, enter the option names in the Hidden custom item options section

    Save changes.

Notes

  • Hidden options are still stored against the order and visible in the Foxy admin and transaction log — they are only hidden from the customer-facing cart, checkout, and receipt display.

  • To hide options at the product level rather than globally, use the triple underscore prefix (___) on the option name in your product link or form — see Hide product options in the cart.

  • Custom option names are case sensitive — enter them exactly as they appear in your product links or forms.
