Billing overview
What the Foxy billing account is, how it differs from your admin login, and who should be paying for your subscription.
Your Foxy billing account — the one used to pay for your Foxy subscription — is separate from the admin login you use to access the Foxy admin. This means the password for one may be different from the password for the other.
Admin login vs. billing account
Signing in to the Foxy admin and paying for your Foxy subscription are two different systems. The billing account can be managed independently of admin access — for example, an accounting department can be the billing contact without needing any admin access to the store itself.
Who should pay for Foxy
A few recommendations to avoid billing headaches:
The business using Foxy should be the one paying for the subscription.
A web developer or agency building the store generally should not pay for Foxy on a client’s behalf.
The person whose name is on the credit card should be the one receiving the email receipts, since those receipts contain the links used to update payment info or cancel the subscription.
A single email address can only be associated with one billing account. If a developer pays for multiple clients’ stores using their own email address, each client’s card gets overwritten by the next, and billing gets tangled between clients.
