Limit coupon usage and set valid dates
How to cap how many times a Foxy coupon can be used and set the dates it's active.
Control how many times a coupon can be redeemed and when it is active. Set these on the coupon's edit screen under Coupons.
Usage restrictions
Leave any field blank for unlimited uses.
Uses per coupon: the maximum total redemptions across all of the coupon's codes.
Uses per customer: the maximum times a single customer can use this coupon.
Uses per code: the maximum times a single code can be used.
Date restrictions
Start date: when the coupon becomes active. Leave blank to activate immediately.
End date: when the coupon expires. Leave blank for no expiration.
Start and end dates are inclusive, so the coupon works on those dates.
Notes
Dates and times follow your store's timezone settings.
A coupon only counts as used when it applies an actual discount. A $0 charge (for example, a subscription with a future start date) does not count toward usage. To track a $0 coupon as used, set its tier to
0-0.If a customer reaches checkout with a coupon that has become invalid (for example, it hit its usage limit), they are returned to checkout with the coupon removed and an error message.
PayPal Express Checkout (Legacy): limited-usage coupons do not behave as expected on legacy PayPal subscriptions. The coupon is removed within Foxy, but PayPal keeps charging the discounted amount. Avoid limited-usage coupons with those subscriptions.
