Add a Customer Pickup Option to Shipping

How to add a customer pickup option to your shipping rates using the Custom Options shipping method.

Customer pickup is one of the additional services available on the Custom Options shipping method. Enabling it adds a free pickup choice alongside your other shipping rates at checkout.

Steps

    Go to the Foxy admin

  2. 2

    Go to Settings > Shipping

  3. 3

    Under Shipping methods, click Custom Options. If it isn't listed yet, add it as a new shipping method first.

    Under Destinations, turn on Use for domestic destinations, Use for international destinations, or both, depending on where you offer pickup

  5. 5

    Under Additional services, check Customer Pickup. Changes in this section save automatically.

  6. 6

    Test by adding a product to the cart and entering a shipping address to see the rates

  • The service code for this rate is customer_pickup. Use it if you need to target the rate in custom shipping code.
